Before proceeding with the installation, make sure your Mac meets the system requirements.

Double click on the bitdefender file with the.pkg extension and follow the on-screen instructions.

This feature enforces that only kernel extensions (KEXT) approved by the user will be loaded on a system.

When a request is made to load an extension that the user has not yet approved, the request is denied and macOS displays an alert similar to the one shown below.

The requested permission is now granted and Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac is properly installed on Mojave.

The BDLDaemon file can be found on the partition where Bitdefender is installed (in our example, the partition is named macOS Mojave) inside this directory.

Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac now has Full Disk Access and is properly installed on Mojave.

When prompted, enter the password of an administrator account, then press Unlock.

When prompted, type your administrator account password, and then press Unlock.

Press Quit Now and the Bitdefender interface will disappear from your screen.
